Many fire department events could not be held, nor safety equipment be purchased, if it wasn’t for the generous donations by sponsors and event attendees. The Cortez Fire Protection District appreciates all the assistance provided and will continue to hold events for the community through donations and sponsorships.

Thanks to efforts of Driver License Offices statewide, over 1,000 stuffed animals were donated to children facing traumatic situations. The local Cortez Driver License staff was proud to present to the local Cortez Fire District with donations received and collected during the Teddy Bear Patrol Drive in August.
