The Cortez Fire Protection District is not only dedicated to providing excellent emergency service, but we also strive to prevent emergencies. Through community education, safety equipment and prevention services, we hope to prevent harm to the residents of our fire district.

Fourth of July Fireworks Donation
The Cortez Fire Protection District is proud to provide the fireworks each year at the City of Cortez’s Fourth of July and Pinto Bean celebrations. These displays can only be provided with assistance by the community. We ask for a donation to assist with the purchase of the fireworks and the labor associated with the set-up, take down and presentation.
